For an inherent night owl I do have a painfully day wardrobe Guess Im the kind of owl that rearranges all the rats and bunnies by size and colour in my little hole in the willow tree, and writes a blog, instead of going out to dance with the bats. I guess its also not really surprising that I packed a Uniqlo mens plaid shirt to wear as a skirt for the Campari party in Milan thats the extent of my creativity, second to wearing the right shoe on the left foot and vice versa. AG Adriano Goldschmied brings the brights for Spring 2012

We were treated to a preview of  local denim company AG Adriano Goldschmieds Spring collection this morning, courtesy of the brands design director, Samuel Ku. And the luxury lines future looks so dang bright, we might have to, um, wear shades.

Bold, vibrantly colored bottoms abounded  — welcoming Spring with neon-hued skinnies, jewel-toned khakis, pastel straight-legs, sequined styles and eye-catching prints including a white-and-blue ikat, a leopard print and classic engineer stripes.

‘New Girl’: a look for all ages

Costume designer Deb McGuire and ‘New Girl’ star Zooey Deschanel are inspiring women of all ages to perk up their wardrobes with colors and shapes that are pure fun.

“What’s so interesting is I get emails every day from all ages wanting to know where these things are from and how to get them,” McGuire says. “That’s the first time they’ve had a look that fresh and new, and everyone’s kind of like, ‘Wow!’ because it’s usually within an age range, and this appeals to 13-60.”

McGuire describes Jess’ style as having a classic Audrey Hepburn influence.

“There’s a very late ’40s, early ’50s vibe to it that’s really refreshing,” she says. “It has sex appeal and sensuality without it smacking you in the face.
